  Spencer S.

  Spencer is Co-Founder and Executive Director for Neverthirst. Before beginning full time at Neverthirst, he spent 13 years involved in different business ventures, which included owning two Moe’s Southwest Grill locations and a Homevestors franchise. Now he spends his time between home and the developing world visiting project sites and raising awareness and funds for the billion people living without access to clean and safe water.

  Mark W.

  Mark is Co-founder and also works as Project Coordinator for Sudan. He leads various teams on the ground and allows them to see first hand the desperate need for water and what Neverthirst is doing to help the worlds newest country. Mark is also actively taking Neverthirst on the road to share the vision with churches in the southeast.

  Natalie Gibbs

  Natalie serves as our Internal Projects Coordinator and Development Support. Growing up in Birmingham, Natalie moved away for college and graduated from Auburn University in 2006. She then went to work for a Tuscaloosa based non-profit where she was called on for any and every task - including grant writing. We’re glad she’s back in Birmingham and helping us keep track of our growing number of projects, donors, church contacts and coordinating local Neverthirst events. Natalie’s compassion for those less fortunate and her strong efficiency and organizational skills made her a perfect fit for the Neverthirst team.

  Andrew Gurkin

  Andrew Gurkin is our newest member and comes to us as our India Director.  He will be responsible for our church partnerships in India and the implementation and success of our water and church programs.  We are extremely excited about this as Andrew brings over 7 years of experience with Compassion International working with church partners through their successful child programs.

• Forrest Walden

  Forrest graduated from Auburn University with a degree in exercise science, where he was also the head cheerleader. Forrest is the owner of Iron Tribe Fitness, an exercise facility in Birmingham powered by Cross Fit. He is also a co-founder of Neverthirst and leads efforts to targeted countries as needed.

• Rhett Bennett

  Rhett is a partner of Arlington Partners®, a multi client family office located in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Brown University with a double major in business economics and history. Rhett also completed additional economic coursework at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

• Vann Russell

  Vann is a founder and managing director of Arlington Capital Advisors, LLC and Arlington Investment Partners, LLC. Prior to Arlington Capital Advisors, Vann worked for Deloitte and Touche. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a certified public accountant.

• Don Brobst

  Don received his bachelor's degree in biology from Wheaton College in Illinois, and completed medical school and residency in Chicago in 1987. He currently practices medicine in Alabama, and has a heart for missions in Africa. Don has recently written a book titled Thirteen Months, the story of his wife's battle with cancer as God revealed His faithfulness, compassion and sovereignty. Don is also the founder Radical Hope Incorporated-a charity that receives all royalties from the book and distributes those funds to the lost and needy through Christ-centered organizations.

• Ricky Brooks

  Ricky grew up in the Atlanta, Georgia suburb of Lithonia and graduated from Mississippi State in 1973 with a degree in Marketing. In 1996, he bought Express Oil Change and currently serves as its CEO. Over the years, Ricky has served on numerous boards for faith based non profit organizations.
