We’ll play for India

It started with an email to us on March 10 that began, "Hey Spencer! Ashley and I were talking about ways we could impact the world with our tiny little small groups, and we came up with a pretty cool idea...."

That's it - it was just an idea and desire to 'impact the world' with their small group that studies the Word together. Their idea was simple: Find a free venue, find some local artist to sing, round up donated items to sell, and then invite all their friends on Facebook.

Their hope was to sell enough trinkets, photos, water and baked goods to provide one village in north India clean water & the gospel....and they prayed toward that end.

By the end of the night they had raised enough from over 300 friends to provide FIVE villages in north India clean water through the local church!  Just think - a few generous friends (mostly college) got together to listen to some music, eat some food, fellowship and now people on the other side of the world will be provided with clean, safe drinking water.  More importantly, many of these people will be exposed to the gospel for the first time in their lives.

We love stories like this.  Our church partners around the world love stories like this.  And people suffering without access to clean water love these stories.

Help us provide the poor with clean water through the local church...make your own story.
