Village: Vora
Sudan
We visited Vora in January of 2010 where we met Ruth. We asked her to show us the water her family drinks and she came to us with what you see in this first image. She also told us most of them only eat once a day due to the lack of water during the dry season. In February they had clean water.

Village: Lomeje
Sudan
The people of Lomeje had to walk hours every day to fetch water from a stream. During the dry season they struggled to find enough water to live. The new well in the village has changed all of that.

Village: Kanyara
Sudan
Many villagers in Kanyara already depend on the local church to help with their many needs. They are very grateful that the church has brought them clean drinking water that will help cut down on illness and death in the village.

Village: Arikeli
Sudan
Mary, one of the women leaders in the local church said it all, "The water we used to drink was so horrible. Living organisms including algae, mosquitos and a green layer of which I can't name covered the top of the water. Our families used this water for personal hygiene. Skin infection, typhoid and worms were almost in every family. Today I have seen God working in some peoples lives to save us from our problems. I have no words to say. Our God is great."

Village: Nyongwe
Sudan
The people of Nyongwe use to get their water from an open stream. The water was contaminated and caused much sickness, mainly typhoid and worms. This new borehole is a blessing and will relieve much suffering.

Village: Witto
Sudan
Witto is a very special community to us. It was where we first saw the desperate situations of communities living without access to safe drinking water. These were our brothers and sisters in Christ. Our first well was in Witto when the community population was just at 600. After that initial well, over 600 more people showed up to be a part of the village and so in late 2009 we were able to give them another well to supply their growing needs.

Village: Luku
Sudan
The people in Luku use to drink water from a open well near the forest. It was so contaminated that three quarters of the villagers were infected with typhoid and worms. The day the well was drilled, the Village Leader, Mike Mogga, said, "Today God has blessed us with clean water. May God bless you all."

Not only does this new borehole serve the people of Wudabi, but also the patients in the Wudabi Mission Clinic.

Village: Matta
Sudan
Matta neighbors the village of Witto and when they saw the clean water Witto enjoys they were anxious to show us where they collect water. Soon after, our water partners IAS, came back to Matta and coordinated the drill with local believers.
