Sponsor A Woman
Women are essential to any clean water and sanitation effort. They collect all of the household water, take care of children, prepare meals and tend to a number of other household responsibilities.
Through our holistic Adopt a Village model, the church is equipping these women with the knowledge and skills to change the life of their community. For just $34 per month over three years you can be a part of community transformation. Keep reading to find out how it works.

How Does It Work?
Our local church partners select up to 30 women in each community to participate in a three year course designed to encourage and equip these women to help create change in their community through clean water and sanitation.
The women commit to this learning twice a week at which times they come together, share and discover solutions for issues they have identified. The local church encourages participatory learning where each persons voice and opinion are valued. Over the course of several months they will discover together the link between clean water, hygiene, sanitation and the health of their families.
Discovering these truths give them the opportunity to raise questions on how the women can address these issues. The local church will be ready with some solutions that, if applied by the entire community, have the potential to dramatically change the lives of the women, their children and the entire village.
It's here that these women help the local church introduce a comprehensive water and sanitation program to the entire community. A WASH (water and sanitation hygiene) committee is formed from the community and the project is underway. Once complete, the community will enjoy the following benefits:
1. A community water tank for clean water
2. Private toilets and bathing rooms in every home
3. 24-hour piped water supply for each family
When you sponsor a woman to participate in this church based learning, you are helping equip them with the tools necessary to create real and sustainable change not only in their homes, but also in their village. These women will be valued and cared for by the church in a way that demonstrates the love of Christ while at the same time learning about Him, His life, death and resurrection through storying carried out by the local church.
What can you expect?
When you sponsor a woman you will receive information about her family, the community and our local church partner. As we receive updates from the field we will pass these along to you so that you can continue to pray for her and the entire community as they journey together towards sustainable clean water solutions which will bring health and dignity through the local church.
